Hey, old school Thrash Metal with Cronos on vocals? Sounds cool, it is THE ENCHANTED from the British kingdom. Of course, it is not Cronos who is singing here – but it could be true with the opener, anyway. "Way Of The Warrior" is accompanied by a FORBIDDEN-like killer riff and the growls are even deathier here. An enormous drive whips the song forward and numerous breaks provide for variation. The highlight of this EP! It goes on like that punch after punch on this four track.

Stylistically THE ENCHANTED alternate between technical Death and heavy Thrash and there, they also manage to elicit a positive nod from me. Basically this isn’t new but they know how to skillfully combine both savage power and dynamic technique. Every now and then the vocals are a bit too harsh for me for that technical music…But as a foretaste of the oncoming full length CD, this appetizer is quite hot.
