An album with a dark and brooding edge that not only appeals to fans of melodic black metal but equally finds its place next to progressive luminaries such as Opeth and Dark Tranquility. This is the closest a UK band has ever come to rivaling such masters in melancholic, atmospheric songcraft. The quality of the songwriting and playing are outstanding, and the solos are literally breathtaking.
